Hey, I dont know much about the layout here (but ocean does ;D ) but I was thinking it would be cool to incorperate this cute picture into it  perhaps as a header or welcome sign? lets hear your opinions ^_^ |

hmm... -thinks- I shall see what I can do... looks like a background kinda thing to me... but if I did that it'd get all covered up, unless I made the boxes clear, but then they'd be hard to read... I could make a logo out of it, I'm sure... or try the background thing... and I'll try a header once I get home, because it'll involve some coding... so we shall see! But I'll check if it'd work as a background now...

I love it! it's such an adorable picture! And it's cozy. I think we should set up the layout to matcj--the background should be a night time forest scene, and I think the board's colors should be dark blues and purples, and maybe we could incorporate little stars and lamps into it somehow. There's nothing quite as cozy as a cold winter night, a warm bed, a mug of hot chocolate, and book. ^_^

Images like that technically can work if you fade them. Personally, I don't like such color intense pictures as backgrounds (I am very picky about what I use as a background in my own designs), but if you really wanted to use one of those as a bg, you can just change the opacity in photoshop.

hmm... ya, no point making it a background, most of the image would be covered... but maybe, if I go with freezair's idea... I might be able to come up with a stary background, and changing the forum colors is nothing... I just wish the stupid site would let me make the boxes clear... oh well, I'll figure something out.
I don't know how much I'm going to be on for a while... kinda grounded, stupid report card...
